Faustino Rioja Gran Reserva I 1990

Winemaker's Notes:

The Finest Wines of Rioja: Faustino is one of Rioja's best-known producers. Indeed, the frosted Burgundy bottle with the label bearing a Rembrandt-style portrait is pretty much synonymous with Rioja throughout the world, while Faustino I Gran Reserva is... the archetype of classical Gran Rioja, aged for a very long time and released a decade or more after the harvest, with a profile based on red fruit and balsamic notes... This is truly Faustino's top wine, and as such only very good vintages are produced. (2011)
