Winemaker's Notes:

A blend of Sangiovese at 60% and Cabernet Sauvignon at 40%. Production area: a vineyard known as "del Meastro"(The Master's vineyard), as a tribute to the vine-dresser who tended to it for many yaers, and in recognition of his outstanding mastery in pruning and grafting vines. The vineyard "del Maestro" is situated on the top of a west-facing hill in the Arno valley whitin the property of the farm. Ageing: this wine is aged partially in barriques and partially in oak casks of 20Hl capacity. After nearly a year, the wine is blended, bottled and left in a dark, fresh cantina for another two years for further refinement. Average annual production: 6.000 bottles. Packaging: 0.75 Lt Bordolese bottle. Organolettic Characteristic: wine of notable body and structure, harmonic with a fine persistent bouquet. Food affinities: red meats, small game and age cheeses. Serving temperature: 18 degrees. Duration: 8 - 10 years.
