Great dry red...not always reliable...be careful buying at budget places... it can sour...

Full body and fruity. Can serve to guests before dinner with some cheese, veggies and crackers. Goes well with pasta as well. Not the greatest but good value.

Grape variety: 100% Shiraz Vinification: To make the Fat bastard Shiraz we source wines in the Minervois area near Carcassonne, in the Pezenas sector, and in the north of Nimes. These vineyards present excellent conditions for the Shiraz vines. The stony soil and a perfect microclimate yields mature grapes with a high concentration of color and aromas. Tasting Notes: Rich and dense with complex aromas of blackberries, licorice and vanilla. Tannins are ripe and delicate. Food Pairings: A perfect match with red meat, lamb, spicy foods and full-bodied cheeses. - Winery

This onersquo;s got the fat, my God, thatrsquo;s huge! Literally bursting at the seams with rich, ripe blackberry, blueberry, raspberry, cassis and plum. A smooth, velvety mouthful of goodness. Once again, it tastes like a much more expensive wine.
