Farnese Vini is a wine label and importer based in southern Italy. The wines are primarily produced in the Abruzzo region, with expansion into Puglia and Campania. The company is named for 16th century Princess Margherita d’Austria, wife of Ottavio Farnese, who planted the initial vineyards in Abruzzo. In addition to value-driven, quality wines, the company also produces grappa.
A violet medium body. Alcohol nose with slight fruity confiture. Seems a decanter is recuired. It has peppery finish and is a good choice for a party.
I like the fact that the body is heavier than most wines with these distinctive fruity flavours without the heavy aftertaste of a merlot or melbec.
Very smooth with good flavor
One and a half glasses
I am sorry I can not rate anything since I could not find the Wine I am looking for. I am looking for a FARNESE SANGIOVESE from 2003.
