I give it a 5 for the following reasons- price is unbeatable, the taste is delicious and bouquet is enticing. A nice, rounded, yummy rose bubbly at this price is hard to find and this is a total jackpot.

Producer: Fantinel Vintage: NV Formats available: 750 ml Appellation: IGT Venezi GIulia Region: Friuli Country: Italy Variety: 87% Pinot Nero, 13% Chardonnay Commune: Spilimbergo Vineyard Site: Friuli Grave Average Of Vineyards: 10-15 yrs SoilType: gravel Elevation: 100 m asl Exposition: SW Harvest Date: early September Average Yield: 80-90 quintali/hectare Fermentation Method: Fermentation in stainless steel vats at controlled temperature. Refermentation in autoclaves (stainless steel tanks) for 4 months (Charmat method). Alcohol Content: 12% Acidity: 6.5 g/L Residual Sugar: 13.5 g/L Production: 80,000 btls First Year Of Production: 2006 Notes: These vineyards are located on an alluvial plain, in the center of Friuli, between the mountains and and the sea.
