This wine begins with a nose of deep earth and fruit. rich sweet scents of chocolate cherries, cassis and barrel vanillan rap together in a light dusting of earth-scented spice that compliments the deep ruby color. Cherry-chocolate espresso wraps together with the tannin and well balanced acidity to create a lingering finish. Cellared correctly, this wine should provide fifteen or more wonderful years of drinking pleasure.
