Famille Perrin Vacqueyas les Christins 2010

Member Review by zufrieden:

Inviting deep red (sanguineus) colour with spicey, meaty (ham sausage) blackberry nose. Excellent grip, with blackberry and sage notes on the palate. Syrah seems much in evidence, with more structure than (say) Rasteau or Vinsobres. Long finish with silky, grainy tannins. Could be aged for a few years, but is delicious now - especially with substantial meat dishes. 91 points.

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.
