Familia Mayol:
“Our wines bear our name, a unique identity. It's our way of reflecting the passion for our land through the cultivation of its fruits; a tradition we have inherited from both our European and Incas ancestors.”
Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.

Dense and decadent, with plush tannins and luscious black cherry, plum and blackberry fruit notes. Cedar and coffee flavors bring up the back end, along with well-integrated pepper and baking spice elements.

Malbec as the anchor provides velvety and medium sweet tannins. The final result is a wine that surrenders a brooding bouquet exhibiting notes of wood smoke, mineral, Asian spices, incense, graphite and assorted black fruits. In the glass it has a racy personality, complexity, and good volume and length. This savory effort will benefit from 2–3 years of additional cellaring before the wine is realeased.

A big strapping wine featuring a solid core of sappy dark cherry date and fig all wrapped in baker’s chocolate and espresso. Very full and extracted this Malbec-based blend would be a great alternative to Zin.

Sweet tannins blended with oak provide lots of complexity and a velvety texture on this tasty gem from Mendoza, Argentina. Excellent with any grilled meats...even burgers!
