Familia Mayol Bonarda Kaleido Pircas 2007

External Review by We Speak Wine:

Blue hints with violet hues characteristic of a complex Bonarda. Fresh and quite fragrant floral aromas.. Light on the palate but rather spicy; with juicy mint flavors and fresh blackberries. Mild tannins. An easy wine to enjoy with light cheeses and pasta. - Winery

Intense color. Blue hints with violet hues characteristic of a complex Bonarda. Fresh and quite fragrant floral aromas.. Light on the palate but rather spicy; with juicy mint flavours and fresh blackberries. Mild tannins. A pretty complex, hand-crafted, full-bodied wine for the money.

Bonarda is one of the most popular and successful red grapes grown in Argentina. Familia Mayol makes their fantastic version in the Mendoza region, and the wine gives us everything we want in a full-bodied red: spice, lush black fruit (blueberries and blackberries), and medium grip from the tannins.
