Famega is a wine produced by Caves de Cerca in Portugal. They specialize in Vinho Verde, an inexpensive, light, dry, refreshing, low alcohol, slightly fizzy wine that’s great with a variety of light cuisines and seafood, especially on a hot day. They also produce a zesty rosé counterpart, all from indigenous Portuguese grapes.
Fruity, and nice. A safe bottle of wine.
This is such an exciting wine. I love the effervescent quality it has, and it's so crisp. A white wine lover, I normally stick to Viogner or Sauvignon Blancs, but I was so glad I ventured out and tried this at dinner last night.
This is one of my favorites for $10 or less.. depending on where you find it. Sincerely, a good interesting wine. All high notes. Chipper and crisp, like a Spring morning.
