Falesco was founded in 1979 by brothers Riccardo and Renzo Cotarella, two of Italy's most acclaimed winemakers. Vitiano Bianco is a balanced, delightful, and fresh wine that offers a rich bouquet of herbs, lime, and ripe pears. A great Italian value wine, it is the perfect accompaniment to pasta with shellfish, risotto, white meat casseroles, salads, and vegetables.(50% Vermentino and 50% Verdicchio)

Mondini affirms that as early as the 19th century several foreign varietals were cultivated in Lazio, some in quite remarkable proportions and specialized in the vineyards... Cabernet, Carignane, Gamay, Grenache, Merlot, Malbeck, Pinot, Sauvignon, Syrah... Lazio generally proves to be an area where the advantages from the cultivation of the foreign varietals are remarkable, especially for what concerns the ones coming from France.. A fantastic value! Crisp and consistently interesting. Not a big wine but one that goes well with almost any non-red meat meal. I got it for $8. Adds variety to my chardonnay diet.
