Gold Medal at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles in 2002 Silver Medal at the International Wine Challenge, London 2002 Gold Medal at the InterVin International, New York-USA 2002 Gold Medal at the 12th Concorso Enologico Internazionale Vinitaly in 2004 How could have Parker and WSpectator have missed this incredible vintage?? Needs to be in a decanter at least an hour, due to the prolomged ageing in bottle, but after it shows lot of spice, becomes velvety and smooth, two words to descibe it: very elegant. We had it at the end of a grilled steak dinner, this wine actually paired incredibly with a dark (dark!) chocolate souffle and a Montecristo n°2 !! Wish we'd have had more!
