Faiveley Latricières-Chambertin Grand Cru 2002
Winemaker's Notes:
91-94 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): This is even more elegant than the Mazis with its explosive, very dense red and black cherry fruit and exquisitely elegant, remarkably complex and powerful, mineral-infused flavors and a finish that seems to go on forever. This is not a huge wine but one that is impressively harmonious as everything is in perfect balance. A precise and driving finish adds an exclamation point to what is already a very classy wine. Drink: 2012-20. (Jan 2004)
