Faiveley Gevrey-Chambertin les Cazetiers Premiere Cru 2007

Winemaker's Notes:

There is a very attractive, floral bouquet to this wine which combines with thebeautifully intricate, subtly-nuanced flavours that belong in Cazetiers. Thefruit just bursts out at the finish; this is quite delicious.

Good full, medium red. Deep but somewhat reserved aromas of wild red berries, minerals, iodine and spicy oak, lifted by a floral topnote. Wonderfully concentrated, silky and sweet, with almost shocking early sex appeal. This really stains the palate on the back end, finishing with terrific energy, sweetness and lingering perfume. It's hard to imagine anyone not liking this style. Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar, Mar/Apr 10, Stephen Tanzer

The aromatic profile here is similar to that of the Combe aux Moines as its fresh, earthy and quite pure with very ripe red pinot fruit notes complementing lively, dense and wonderfully complex, firmly but finely structured flavors blessed with buck... Burghound. A Pinot Noir wine from Burgundy in France. 2003 Faiveley Gevrey Chambertin les Cazetiers Premier Cru 375ml
