Elegant, spicy, savory wine that is complete on the palate from start to finish. Seamless and lengthy, it can be approached now but should provide enjoyment for another 6-7 years. - According to the Wine Advocate
The 2006 Pinot Noir Estate was aged entirely in seasoned oak. It is light ruby-colored with a lovely bouquet of cherry and wild strawberry. This leads to a velvety textured, elegant wine with savory red fruits, spice, excellent concentration and a fruit-filled finish. The winersquo;s impeccable balance may allow for further development in the bottle but it can be enjoyed now. Achieving this level of elegance in a vintage like 2006 is a singular accomplishment.
Light red. Intriguing perfume of redcurrant, pomegranate, strawberry bitters, botanical herbs and dried flowers; reminds me of a Barolo Chinato. Sweet, light-bodied red berry flavors are firmed by bitter cherry skin and licorice qualities. Succulent herbal and floral notes come up with air and extend through the silky, persistently sweet finish.
Classic Eyrie, European styling, and perfectly suited to this rather lean vintage. Impeccable balance, with a subtle mix of fruits, herbs, spices, leaf and wood. The grip and authority of this wine are lovely. - P.G. Wine Enthusiast. A Pinot Noir wine from Oregon in USA. 2007 Eyrie Pinot Noir 750ml
The 2007 Pinot Noir Estate is more expressive aromatically. Cinnamon, allspice, rose petal, cherry, and raspberry scents lead to a silky, medium-bodied, feminine Pinot with savory red fruits, excellent concentration, lively acidity, and a lengthy finish. Drink this tasty effort through 2017.
Classic Eyrie, European styling, and perfectly suited to this rather lean vintage. Impeccable balance, with a subtle mix of fruits, herbs, spices, leaf and wood. The grip and authority of this wine are lovely.
