Eyrie Vineyards Dundee Hills Pinot Noir United States Oregon North Willamette Mcminnville Red 2008

External Review by WineExpress.com:

Jason Lett of Eyrie vineyards is a pioneer in the Willamette Valley. His winery, established in 1966 produced the region's first Pinot Noir, spurring the enormous growth and interest in Oregon Pinot. More importantly, over the years he has continued to hone and perfect his vineyard practices and production methods to maintain the best quality and help establish the Dundee Hills AVA. 2008 was an incredible vintage in Oregon and the Wine Advocate rated this wine 92 points saying "The medium ruby red 2008 Pinot Noir Estate offers up a lovely perfume of cherry blossom, cinnamon, incense, cranberry, and raspberry. Elegant on the palate with plenty of spicy red fruit, lively acidity, and enough structure to evolve for several years, it will be at its best from 2013 to 2023." Extremely Limited!
