Cabenet Sauvignon: Originally of French origins, this versatile grape produces exceptional wines around the globe. It's usually medium to full bodied with a fine structure that supports black and red fruit flavors with typical notes of olive, chili and herbs that add complexity.

Winemakers Notes

Blackish plum in colour. Nose redolent of ripe black currant and plummy fruit. Toasty oak aromas and sweet fruit flavours are balanced by soft, ripe tannins. Good structure with soft, clean finish. Drinking well now, but should age with benefit over the next 4-6 years." - Winery

Bright fruit with a little tartness in the aroma. However, the aroma is bigger than the actual taste. Rather soft with an oaky, tannic finish. Also, rather hot, 14.5 % alcohol. Better cabs out there but this definately wasn't the worst!!
