Evening Land Vineyards Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast Occidental Vineyard 2006

External Review by CoolVines:

Mark Tarlov purchased the famed Occidental Vineyard from Dutton, who sold the fruit to Kistler. Small (3.5 acres) and above the fog-line, this vineyard soil is extremely poor, making vines struggle to gain a water supply. The concentration per grape, subsequently, is amazingly deep, leading to wonderfully complex wines.Overseen by Sashi Moorman, the Evening Land Sonoma Pinots are strikingly true to the terroir of the region.
