And this 2005 from Evans & Tate is not only a delicious Cab but a stunning value. The vintage was outstanding and the grapes were harvested at peak ripeness. A slow maceration extracted deep color and richness then the wine was aged 6 months in French oak barrels. The balance is impeccable and the overall experience is that of a $30+ Cabernet.
