Etude Rose of Pinot Noir(2006)

The second vineyard designated Pinot Noir from the Etude Estate Vineyards. These vineyards are tucked away in the far northwest corner of the Carneros Appellation and feature well-drained, rocky upland soils. The site includes six different soil types and a wide variety of topographical features. The vineyard parcels were customized to conform to the various soil types and the changing contours of the topography. Beautiful pale pink in color, this Rose is vibrant and juicy with aromas of just-picked strawberries and sweet oranges. Lush flavors of strawberries and pomegranate carry over on the palate and lead to a long, satisfying finish. The acutely balanced acidity makes this wine a wonderful complement to many foods and al fresco dining.
