The rich but strikingly well-detailed middle weight mineral-inflected flavors possess excellent intensity that carries over to the focused, linear and citrus-infused finish.

Winemaker's Notes:

In contrast to the heightened expressiveness of many of these 1ers, this by contrast is quite reserved and only reluctantly displays notes of fresh white flowers, lime, wet stone and anise. The rich but strikingly well-detailed middle weight mineral-inflected flavors possess excellent intensity that carries over to the focused, linear and citrus-infused finish. This is impressive and good as it is though, it can't quite bring the same complexity to bear as the Folatières, Champs Canet or Combettes. *-92 points*Allen Meadows' Burghound
