Etienne Sauzet Puligny-Montrachet 2005

Winemaker's Notes:

Aromas of apricot nectarine and acacia flower. Fat spicy broad and rich with fresh lemon and lime notes. Dense dry and rich with good supporting acidity. This has clarity and grip.

This was the first Pugliny i ever had, so i may be a little biased, but having had many more, it think its a great representation of the area.

There are 120 barrels of this cuvee, compared to just 18 for the Chassagne villages More fruit-driven aromas of ripe peach and minerals, with a whiff of porcini. Less fat than the Chassagne villages, with an impression of stronger lemony acidity, and... Stephen Tanzer's IWC. A Chardonnay wine from Burgundy in France. 2005 Domaine Etienne Sauzet Puligny Montrachet 750ml
