What to Expect

Riesling is a chameleon of a grape, able to produce world class wines that range from bone dry to unctuously sweet. Germany is most closely associated with Riesling, where all styles are made and the range of flavors runs the gamut from steely and crisp with crunchy mineral-driven flavors to fresh lime, apple and peach flavored expressions - even rich honied, candied fruit tones in the great dessert wines.

Winemakers Notes

The 2007 Dry Riesling is a lovely wine. It starts with scents of pineapple, white peach and a hint of petroleum. The mouth is full of tangy green apple, citrus, and mineral flavors. The finish is long and satisfying. Served at a White House dinner several months ago, we suggest serving it at your house with tuna carpaccio and a lime-mango salsa, grilled chicken kabob, or by itself. If you enjoy dry white wines, you will want to stock up on this one.
