Estancia Merlot Keyes Canyon Ranches Central Coast 2006
Scents of smoky berry, wood, and a touch of licorice. Has a dry start, flavor of tangy cherries. A very dry and long, warm finish.
Medium red color; Aromas of berries (strawberries); Light-body; Taste is light fruit. Still tasting...
Good balance, very drinkable. However, nothing overly complex or amazing, either.
Very fruity and sweet, definitely an impressive merlot. Delightful sweetness resides in both the taste and the aroma, like a shy teenage girl who just had her first crush on a guy. A very simple, lovely, sweet and beautiful wine. I really like it.
