Estancia Chardonnay 2009
Chardonnay fruit from some of Monterey's finest sites, including Pinnacles Vineyard and Santa Lucia Highlands. Aromas of pear, apple and nuts. The palate has tropical fruit with hints of nuts and ripe lemon. A bit of minerals in the finish. *A lot of chardonnay for very little money*.

Full and rich; pear, passion fruit, and apple with shadings of oak and butterscotch flavor.
A good choice for oak lovers, this Monterey County chardonnay has the ocean breezes blowing through it. Itrsquo;s robust, as it must be to withstand the winds, but yoursquo;ll still find luscious melon, juicy pears, and crisp apples that only the California sun can grow. The finish is rich and toasty.
Ultraripe in style, with a bounty of pear, fig and tropical fruit flavors, this lovely white from California turns smooth and polished, with a pretty dash of toasty oak adding dimension. Not only a good value, itrsquo;s ready to drink and widely available.
Bright pear, apricot and fig with hints of cinnamon, allspice and vanilla on the nose. On the palate ripe fig, honeydew melon and pear with a dollop of pineapple and lemon custard. Subtle yet complex.
Estancia keeps the yields from their Pinnacles vineyard low to ensure concentrated flavors in each grape. This Chardonnay is an example; itrsquo;s bursting with flavors of pear, fig, brioche and hazelnuts.
