Call me a poseur. I'm a total freakin' sucker for the big fruit punch shakes like this. Oaky, thick and very plummy. Read more

Glass-staining ruby. Highly complex bouquet displays cherry, candied licorice, wintermint, camphor and smoked meat. Weighty and deep, with sweet but energetic dark berry and cherry flavors, good mineral lift and a late note of bitter cherry skin. Impressively fresh shiraz with a firm, youthful bit and good finishing lift. This wine is made by Reid Bosward, of Kaesler.
Dark beet red in the glass, with a nose that fills the room with aromas of delicious ripe fruits. A full, soft, sensual mouthfeel and long lasting finish. You will absolutely "win" friends and influence those with good taste when you share this spectacular Shiraz.
Kaesler's winemaker, Reid Bosward, is a consulting winemaker for David Knight, and together they have created one of the world's great dry red wine bargains. Aged ten months in neutral French wood, this 100% Shiraz tips the scales at 15.5% alcohol. It is a sexy, delicious "winner" boasting amazing opulence, purity, and richness. A true southern Australian fruit bomb - and proud of it, it is the kind of wine that simply does not exist anywhere else in the world. Enjoy it over the next 3-4 years.
Barossa-based winemaker Reid Bosward crafts this lush, opulent Shiraz from Langhorne Creek. Bold blueberry and blackberry flavors are soft and pillowy in texture, picking up brushes of chocolate and asphalt on the finish.
One of the top values in my Australian tastings, this 2004 Shiraz is a new venture between Kaesler Vineyard's winemaker, Reid Bosward, and the owners of Winner's Tank, David and Kathy Knight. Given minimal aging in French oak, it offers an opaque purple color as well as exuberant, concentrated blackberry and cassis aromas revealing a touch of acacia flowers. Full-bodied, opulently-textured, and loaded, I served this cuvee blind to guests who were convinced it was a $50 bottle of wine. Drink this big, black, Shiraz baby over the next 2-3 years to take advantage of its exuberant fruit.
Classic Australian style — jammy, juicy and bursting with flavors! This intensely rich red screams “Drink me!” Jam packed with pomegranate, cracked pepper and wild berries, this shiraz is definitely a “winner.”
