User Reviews for Esk Valley Chardonnay

Winemaker's Notes:

Hawkes Bay is generally the warmest winemaking region in New Zealand and is the area that produces most of the best cabernet/merlot wines and a lot of the top chardonnays. The 2010 Chardonnay gives notes of ripe melon, guava and pear tart with hints of honeycomb and lightly browned toast. Medium bodied with a lovely silken texture, it has relatively high acid and a long honeydew finish. Drink this one now to 2014+.
