Very pure and precise on the nose with gentle floral tone cut by decisive mineral notes and framed within slightly dried orchard fruit tones. Light and elegant on the palate with wonderful clarity and freshness in the mouth. This delivers very elegant citrus pith, lime peel and green pear flavors in tight, mineral wrapped package. The finish is long and very fine with real succulence and a subtle savory complexity. This is delicious. 91pts
Very soft and subtle on the nose with a nice bed of river stones over which are layered dry wild flowers, green tea, and some gentle creamy, baked apple fruit. Wonderfully elegant on entry with nice intensity and texture but not a lot of weight. There’s a nice lightly bitter tension to the fruit here, which is decidedly fresh and brisk. The finish is a touch short but the wine’s innate sweetness drives a nice echo of fruit through the finale. A little bit less intense than many Pinot Grigio, and as such easy to dismiss, but it’s gains length and nice soil driven complexity with time and is awfully easy to enjoy. 90pts
