Errazuriz Max Reserva Shiraz 2013

Winemaker's Notes:

About The grapes for the Estate Carmenère come from the Max Vineyards in the Valle de Aconcagua, a region that features a Mediterranean climate where moderately warm summer days and cooling afternoon breezes encourages complex, aromatic wines with intense color. The grapes are hand picked, gently crushed into stainless steel tanks and fermented with daily pumpovers per day. A portion of the wine is aged in used French and American barrels, which helps round out the wine and contributes to a sweet mouthfeel.
