Very smooth, tasted black pepper on the finish. Paired with spaghetti. My husband enjoyed as well.
A very approachable wine with loads of personality. the nose greets you with cherry, raspberry jello, tiramisu and tobacco leaf. Entry evokes the tartness of homemade currant jelly or a mixed fruit pie. At just $15 a bottle, it'll make a fine companion the next time you curl up to the poetry of Roberto Bolano and nosh on a quick lunch from Chipotle. Or as I call it, Tuesday.

Wuchtiger, aber von viel Eleganz geprägter Gaumen mit viel schwarzer Beerenfrucht, Edelholznoten und einer Spur Tabak, von herrlicher Fruchtsüsse geprägt, schönes Säure-Frucht-Spiel, angenehmer und anhaltender Abgang.
Tiefes Purpur. Einladende Nase nach schwarzen Früchten, schwarzem Holunder, dezente Marzipannote, schwarzer Pfeffer. Gut strukturierter Gaumen mit viel Brombeeraromatik, etwas Tabak, schöne Schokoladenote, fein gewobene Tannine, ausdrucksvoll.
Inky ruby. Roasted cherry, plum, tobacco, licorice and dried flowers on the intriguingly Bordeaux-like nose and palate. Sweet and juicy, with precise flavor definition and lift. Finishes with supple, broad tannins and very good spicy length. Shows a lot of personality, not to mention impressive balance and clarity.
