Ernie has been one of South Africa's leading sportsmen for over a decade and has become an ambassador for our country. A scholar of life, he has taken to learning about wine like a fish to water.

Terrific modern-style wine. Confidently rendered with blackberry, black currant and boysenberry fruit that oozes along the palate, while cocoa powder, Lapsang souchong tea, black fig and Kona coffee notes ripple through the finish. Still a bit tight,

A Bordeaux blend from Stellenbosch. Full of cassis and spice on the fruit with nuances of cedar from the oak aging. Quite aromatic and certainly a South African beauty that will age. Limited production.

Winemaker's Notes:

Very solid, with a tightly focused beam of winey black currant, plum and briar notes, laced with mouthwatering spice, black tea and roasted apple wood hints that help extend the finish. Racy acidity is well-buried. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Malbec and Cabernet Franc.
