Eric Texier Côte-Rôtie Vieilles Vignes 1999

Editorial Review by Gregory Dal Piaz:

While this always had elevated acidity it seems to have integrated fairly well. Absolutely reeks of olive, red berry and floral notes on the nose with soft tannins in the mouth that support very fresh red berry fruits rounded out with some earth and spice. Breathing did this some good but the wine lacks a bit of intensity and buffering material and it remains a bright and delicate C-R just entering it's drinking window. 2008-2014
