Erath Pinot Gris Willamette Valley 2008
Wine Tasting Notes Lose yourself in this labyrinth of aromas and flavors. Warm and toasty banana cream pie taunts the nose with hints of lemon and fresh applesauce. Juicy flavors of honeydew melon and stone fruits are accented by intriguing floral notes. Palate cleansing acidity carries this wine to a complex, lasting finish that begs for further exploration.
Crisp and flinty with lemon oil character. Nice crisp citrus zest. Enjoyable. - Tasted at the winery 8/17/10
Crisp, citrusy. A nice summer white.
Cheerful aromas of banana, pear, and melon, melded into bright, clean tropical flavors with floral and citrus undertones, ending in a lingering finish. It was a stellar match with a light but slightly spicy Jamaican Chicken with Beans and Rice
4.8.12 at Milwaukee Sail Loft w/ Greg S. Dry, crisp, citrus. Finally a white I really enjoy.
Nice and dry
