This has some of the cherry notes one would expect from a Willamette Pinot, but the finish is nearly caustic. The fruit becomes unctious and is a very disagreeable drinking experience.

Polished, focused and expressive, with red berry, cherry and floral aromas and flavors that pick up hints of roasted beet and a meaty note as the finish persists against refined tannins. Beautifully made and distinctive. Drink now through 2016. -Wine Spectator
