From the Short Hills sub-appellation of the Niagara Peninsula, located in the Niagara Escarpment of Ontario, Canada. THE WINE: Aromas of lush, tropical fruit including lychee, mango and dried apricots. Secondary layers of grapefruit and pineapple notes. The rich viscosity of this Vidal leads to a long, rich finish in the mouth. Brix at Harvest: 41° Alcohol: 9.8% Residual suger: 259 g/litre Size: 375mL Tartric Acidity: 13.2 g/litre Cases Produced: 1,500 TASTING NOTE: "Yellow gold color with pronounced aromas of dried pineapple, honey, citrus and mango. Sweet with amazingly balanced acidity, generous body with rich concentrated fruit and long length. Also shows great varietal, style and origin typicity. A great value at SRP $49." — Jennifer Simonetti-Bryan, MW

Half Bottle-375ml From the Short Hills sub-appellation of the Niagara Peninsula, located in the Niagara Escarpment of Ontario, Canada comes this lush, sweet Ice Wine. The Vidal grapes for this wine, hanging on after harvest, escape foraging birds and are soon in the depths of the harsh Canadian winter. After a continuous period of -10 degrees Celcius, the grapes that remain on the vine, are harvested. Of course, harvest happens in the cold of the night. The resulting nectar is coaxed out of the frozen berries, resulting in an unctuous, sweet but balanced wine with aromas of lush, tropical fruit including lychee, mango, apricots, grapefruit and pineapple. The rich viscosity leads to a long, rich finish.
