Pressed from late harvest frozen Gewurtzraminer grapes, our Vin d Epice is unctuous, honeyed and spicy on the palate with flavors reminiscent of apricots and guavas. While the wine is very sweet, the firm acidity keeps it from being cloying. A Magnificent dessert wine with intense varietal character, the Vin d Epice is an elegant match for a creme brulee, custard or enjoyed as a dessert all by itself. A perennial medal winner, this rich, viscous wine is a great holiday favorite.
