- ($120) Orange oil and vibrant lime on the nose; shows more citric lift than the overwhelming majority of wines from this vintage. Then juicy and high-pitched in the mouth, with firm acids keeping the wine tightly wound. Not as fat as the Referts, but lively, juicy and long, finishing with some youthful toughness. I would not have picked this blind as coming from the 2003 vintage.
