- ($120) Less perfumed than the Referts but the most complex of this collection, with aromas of orange, stone fruits, flowers, spices and wet stone. Chewy and ripe but uncompromisingly dry, with citrus, nectarine and spice flavors nicely framed by lively acids. Builds impressively on the back end, finishing very long and fresh, with a complicating note of vanillin oak. Just three barrels were made from these very old vines in 2003.
