Enkidu Russian River Valley(2006)

We produced our first Rose' in 2006. While the first vintage was 100% Syrah, future vintages may include Mouvedre' and/or Grenache. Like the 2006, our rose's will start with juice from saigne'e (bleeding off) and pressing, and will then be barrel fermented at cool temperatures over the next few days. After two months of weekly stirring, the wines are aged for five - six months in barrel before they are bottled. The is more consistent with the wines of Tavel - richer and rounder than wines from other regions.
