The spicy smoke of the Viognier pulls through front and center with the crisp Chardonnay and full bodied Cabernet Sauvignon. Muscat adds very little fruit complexity.

- The Engelmann Summer Quartet is a great daily-drinker for the hot summer months. The nose is instantly reminiscent of river rocks, salt and orange zest, aromas that remind me of camping. The mid-palette disappears a bit, but the finish is a tropical fruit delight. Pineapples and pears and nectarines dance on the finish with a little pucker to make me remember them. A great value.

- This unusual blend starts off beautifully in the nose. It's full of limestone style minerals and orange flower water, which I find delightful. When it hits your palate it's almost too soft. Not as bright as I was hoping, with a front and mid-palate that were not at all overpowering. It does finish with a hint of what it offers up front, a nice blood orange tartness.
