Enate Gewürztraminer Somontano 2004

Member Review by ryanopaz:

Very clear gold color. Huge nose of Roses erupt out of the glass to the point that I looked about myself for a older lady doused with perfume. None to be seen, back to the glass I pick up a slight lychee note though nothing can get by the floral nose that easily. Very dry in the mouth with a slight oiliness mingled with a creamy quality. Palate of pure flowers though now I'm tasting a wider range of flowers. The lychee nut becomes slightly more pronounced with a delicate hazelnut or cashew quality jumping in. Awesome example of the grape and fun to see Spain pulling off something so different. To this point I have tasted a lot of Gewurz that hasn't come close to being varietally correct. alt-4 c5a12t16o7=90 [90]
