Enanzo Garnacha Rosado 2012

Member Review by lora:

Very pale pink, fruity on the nose, nice bubbles. It's a good bargain rose for a summer drink. Still, I was unimpressed and didn't finish the bottle.

This bodega was founded in 1958 to protect the interests of a group of growers who made their own wine and who still make it today. Currently, Bodegas Campos de Enanzo is the largest winery in Navarra, with an annual production of 7 million litres of wine. The grapes come from over 1,500 hectares of vineyards where young vines coexist with older ones aged up to 50 years. The vineyards are planted with various grape varieties that allow us to make different types of wines, specifically conceived to be sold either as young wines or as aged wines. All of this is always guided by the utmost respect for Nature. The harvests that are collected in our vineyards are exhaustively monitored and yields are never allowed to exceed 6,500 kg per hectare. With investments of over 8 million euros during the last few years, Bodegas Campos de Enanzo is a pioneer in the use of state-of-the-art technology. The result is that our wines are marketed by some of the most prestigious brands. Read less

Very dark for a Grenache rosé. Vinously-driven, concentrated red fruit flavors burst from the glass and are hard to ignore. This is not a wine for subtlety! The very lively finish and lasting flavor help this wine possibly go places where some rosés might not. Serve ice cold with spicy chorizo or Italian sausage from the grill. Food pairing: Asian, seafood, spicy foods, poultry Flavor type: fruit-forward Body type: light-medium Finish: rich

Lush summer fruits and bold floral notes entice you from the glass, while the cheerful, deep rose color and expressive cherry and strawberry flavors delight the other senses. Richer in style than many rosés, with a softer mouthfeel and a smooth, dry finish. Food pairing: Asian, seafood, spicy foods, poultry Flavor type: fruit-forward Body type: light-medium Finish: rich
