Cabenet Sauvignon: Originally of French origins, this versatile grape produces exceptional wines around the globe. It's usually medium to full bodied with a fine structure that supports black and red fruit flavors with typical notes of olive, chili and herbs that add complexity.

Winemakers Notes

Tasting Notes: An elegant style of Cabernet Sauvignon that relies primarily on the berry and cassis fruit characters of the grapes which are enhanced by some sweet vanillin from American oak. A soft round palate makes this wine attractive for early drinking but with ample tannins to provide some cellaring potential. The balance of structure and fruit provides great flexibility with foods. We suggest these dishes: Pork ribs with with ginger plum sauce and beef fajitas with tomatillo sauce.
