Our "En Casa" (At Home) series represents good value in wines that are meant to be enjoyed with friends and family; these wines are not available to retail or restaurant accounts. Our 2004 En Casa Merlot is grown in the cool climate of the Carneros region of southern Sonoma Valley. Long "hang time" allows the development of rich, ripe fruit accented with a hint of fine herbes in the nose. Hints of vannilin, mocha and brown spice are the result of 18 months maturation in small oak cooperage.
