Emilio Moro Finca Resalso Ribera del Duero 2014

Winemaker's Notes:

An extraordinary year, with a very rainy winter and spring marked by high temperatures that favored the vegetative growth of the vine. During the summer temperatures slightly above average and low rainfall occurred, but thanks to the cool nights the vines did not suffer stress which greatly favored polofenólica full aromatic maturity. Benevolent climate favored an early harvest which prevented the October rains commit grape health. Resalso farm is named after a historic vineyard that was planted in 1932, the year he was born Emilio Moro. This is the name we have given our young wine, which is made from vineyards between 5 and 12 years. Since its intense violet color, very cloudy and live this wine honors the extraordinary vintage 2014. The nose dominated with remarkable intensity varietal aromas, with maturity while retaining the freshness and liveliness of his youth, in the form of berries and blacks. In the mouth they highlight the ripe tannin and freshness of its acidity that make it a very nice set of drink. 4 months in French oak barrels & American.
