Emiliana Syrah Colchagua Valley 2006

Member Review by guilly94:

Appearance: Purple, violet disc. Tears are close, fast and clear. Smell: After a little time breathing, Very fleshy and green. Green onions. Very floral as well, with queen of the night (aka lady of the night), and a little jasmine Taste: Almost perfect acid-sweet balance. No astringency. Summer fruits, melon and a hidden watermelon. Still very floral, jasmine and honey. Overall: I got very surprised by this wine. It is very complex, very tasty, perfect with elaborate meals, sweet and sour sauce with red meat or maybe pork. It even has a good ageing possibility, and I think in 10 years it might still be great in the mouth.
