A joint venture by famed producers Banfi and Concha y Toro, the Emiliana brand combines world-renowned winemaking techniques with organic farming, resulting in wines that are earth-friendly, reasonably priced and delicious. The 2007 Sauvignon Blanc is fresh as a summer's day. Luminescent straw hued; the deeply expressive nose is bright and loaded with citrus fruit notes and newly-mowed grass. Fresh dill continues on to the palate, where it is met by ruby-red grapefruit, lemon and a touch of melon on the back end. Made from 100% organic fruit, this is a wine that you can feel good about drinking!
Light, lucid and exactly what we're looking for from Chile. This organic wine has pure varietal aromas of nettles, tarragon and citrus, which are followed by flavors of green fruits, scallion and pepper. It's super zesty and spritzy, with a cleansing finish. About as true as they come in this price range.
