From famed winemaker Emidio Pepe comes this brooding, bold Montepulciano with rustic dark fruit, herbs and bold tannins.
An elegant, less rustic, middle-aged Pepe, yet with all the woodsy, earthy, leathery characters we would still expect. With big tannis and an outrageous complexity and concentration this wine could use a decanting before serving.
Bold, big and full of intensity Emidio Pepes wines age beautifully and can be concidered some of the best wines from the region.
