Really got to spend some time with this wine today. Opened and decanted for two hours before the first glass. The color was dark red, almost purple. The nose showed intense black cherry, licorice, a bit like port but with a creamy milk chocolate that made this intoxicating to smell alone. On the palate the performance continued with an initial rush of black current that was followed by wild red berries, sage, mint and clove on the mid palate. Wonderful acidity yet soft with it's velvety tannic structure still showing just a bit. The finish was long with black currant. A great performance.

Showed such a lovely floral nose with olive, fig, soy and sour cherry. On the palate it proved to be a wine just coming into prime drinking. Dark, rich fruit yet vibrant and fresh with firm structure. This was my kind of Cab, pretty and elegant on the nose and should be great with food as the balanced acidity carries the rich fruit. Nice long finish
