User Reviews for Emeritus Cellars Pinot Noir Russian River Valley
Add your reviewDark fruits and some dark chocolate on the nose. This has a very un-pinot-like nose. Blackberries and the slightest licorice nuance. Youthful with big acidity and round tannins. Big tannin on the finish. Super dark fruit with only hints of spice or oak. - Tasted at Marché Bacchus 5/15/10
Great strawberry and mixed red and black berry fruit on the nose. Subtle spice and some flowers. It's lush and pretty. On the palate, it's deep and rich. Very tasty. Has good depth and concentration of blackberry, wild berry, mineral, sage and some dusty nuances. 1/21/12
One of the best CA pinot's we have every had. We had it at one of our favorite restaurants a few years ago. I contacted teh winemaker Brice and he invited us to come and visit the next time were in in Wine Country. We did. What an incredible visit! We got a personal tour of the vineyards and the winery! We will keep buying and drinking this wine!
I had this wine at the W Union Sqaure NYC. It was the best Pinot Noir I have had in recent memory. Lively, flavor explodes in mouth, balanced with tannins, fruit and alchohol. I was wtih 4 otherse and it was unanimous. This is a great wine. I found it online for 28 dollars plus shipping. Enjoy!
Opened it Christmas eve 2008. Complimented sweet deserts. Heavy, however, enjoyed it.

Lots of spiciness and darker red, tending toward black fruits, on the nose with some faint hints of vanilla. Very smooth, silky palate with a big mouthful of raspberries and cherries, underpinned with some soft spice.
